Square of the Generations

The Square of the Generations or Church Square could be redesigned within the framework of the village renewal, because a dilapidated building was demolished. The square around the church was partly repaved, the slope was stabilized and a small "stage" was created directly at the church. All the planting was done by the citizens themselves. Donations and the proceeds of the inauguration party made it possible to purchase a table, benches and a large parasol, so that the square has also become an attractive meeting place for young and old in the summer. In August 2011, the Square of Generations was inaugurated. The square is used on various occasions. During the Advent season, a large fir tree is erected. The Naturerlebnisland takes care of the lighting and tree decorations. A family service followed by punch, waffles and coffee on the square complete the ambience during the Christmas season. The Church Square is located in the middle of the village and is easily accessible from all sides.

The adjacent residents of the church square have taken over the maintenance of the square for the most part.
